Using Halo

• Provide accurate account information and keep access to your trusted device secure.
• Use Halo only for lawful activity and do not interfere with the service or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not submit confidential third-party information unless you are authorized to do so.
• Follow the rules of merchants, identity providers and other third-party services you connect through Halo.

What Halo provides

Halo is a location-aware authentication and approval product. The consumer mobile app is designed for 2FA merchant connections, Halo Password Manager pairing, a trusted location radius (My Halo), approval activity and account settings. Features may vary by platform and account type.

Halo Plus household/companion features, when available, let an owner manage companion phones and assign connected-product requests. Companion accounts have reduced capabilities and cannot link products independently. Halo Plus is not sold as an in-app subscription in the current consumer release.

Approvals and security decisions

Halo provides security controls and contextual verification signals for sensitive actions such as merchant checks, credential unlocks and connected-app approvals. A request may be approved, challenged, held, declined or timed out based on configured rules, available device and location evidence and account state. Halo is not a guarantee against every form of fraud or account loss.

Password Manager

Halo Password Manager can detect supported login fields, offer to fill and submit a saved login, and ask whether to save, update or keep another credential you enter. A paired browser may save or update a credential after you confirm the on-page prompt; viewing and filling a stored password requires a separate Halo approval. Field detection and submission may not work on every website, so confirm the website before choosing a saved login.

Pairing authorizes a browser to access password metadata and to request scoped password operations. Treat every paired browser as trusted, keep it updated and unpair it if it is lost, shared or compromised. Halo approval reduces unauthorized access risk but cannot guarantee protection against every malicious website, browser extension, compromised device or account takeover.

Deleting Password Manager data is permanent. Unpairing a browser revokes that browser but does not delete your saved logins. Password Manager availability, import compatibility and supported websites may change as the feature develops. Browser extensions may be offered as beta software until an official store listing is available.

Intellectual property

Halo, associated designs, software, demonstrations and product concepts are owned by Halo or its licensors. Content may not be copied or redistributed except as permitted by law or written authorization.

Service availability

Halo may update, suspend or change features to maintain security, comply with provider requirements or improve the service. The website and services are provided subject to availability and applicable law. Preview or coming-soon concepts shown on the website are not part of the current consumer app unless expressly enabled in your account.

Account restriction and termination

Access may be restricted when required to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, respond to provider requirements or prevent unauthorized activity. You may stop using Halo and request account deletion through available account controls in the mobile app or at /account-deletion.
